What better day than Good Friday and Easter weekend to check out the YouVersion Bible application.

While it has been around a few months, YouVersion is simply a great interface for your daily Bible readings, research, or for online collaboration with a the community of believers. I was reminded this morning that today would be a good day to mention YouVersion, after noticing that Kyle over BlackBerryCool had done a quick review.

YouVersion was created by the innovative staff at LifeChurch.tv in Oklahoma. YouVersion already has over a million unique users, and works on any BlackBerry of OS 4.2.1 or higher, its only a 9KB sized app. On the install page of the website, you will find a drop down listing of models accepted. The 8900 and Storm are not listed, but both work well using the 9000 Bold selection.
