There is a rumor going around that the BlackBerry Apex will be announced at WES 2009 in Orlando Florida. The device will be a CDMA version of the Pearl Flip 8230 with EVDO.

The Pearl Flip was a great device that I personally used for quite some time. Although it doesn’t appeal to many people, the flip factor is very popular and it makes sense for RIM to have at least 1 of these

devices. My guess is that we’re seeing greater sales than many BlackBerry enthusiasts would have expected, due to the high number of consumers buying BlackBerry devices these days.
