Over the past few days I’ve been checking out Hedone Designs latest theme on my 9700. FAON, has grown on me in that time. At first I thought it rather basic but after using it I realized the basic yet, functional layout just worked for me. If you’re not a fan of transitions though, be advised FAON does have them built in.

Hedone has emerged from his lab again. This time bringing with him the beautifully designed BerryShell theme. As with most of Hedones designs, BerryShell looks fresh and sharp on your BlackBerry screen. The grey and orange color scheme is nice, similar to his Bussfast theme we’ve seen before, so if you have used that one BerryShell would suit you nicely. Hedone Design is still partying hard as they celebrate their 1st birthday all the while cranking out new themes for us all as well. The latest piece of work to come from Hedone is Desire. Hedone was going for a good design on Desire all while keeping the theme highly functional. Desire is a perfect blance and I’d say Hedone met the goal he started out with on this one.

Plazmic has updated their CDK 4.7 to be compatible with the BlackBerry Tour 9630 and companies like Bplay and Elecite are pumping out themes for the device.

Elecite have re-exported 18 of their best selling themes to support the Tour 9630. These themes include: Ulterior, Solar, Eerie, Blossom, Mechanism, Noble, xBerry , Inspirat, Ascarii 2.0, PSB, Droid, Leopard, Grunge, Scion, iBerry, Distinct, Opus and Analog.

Elecite launched their latest theme for the BlackBerry Storm, 8900 and Bold devices yesterday. Called Analog, it features a sliding icon dock set to a 45 degree angle which can hold 8 customizable icons. Two things that really stand out of about this theme is the custom battery and signal level areas – they are large and really made to be part of the theme as opposed to something that is a small portion of it. Analog is available from Elecite for $6.99.

Ninja_Please has been pushing out great looking themes like there is no tomorrow as of late. This time around Ninja_Please has followed up his popular premium Slyde theme with a free Tweme, yes that’s right, Tweme. Tweme is a Twitter-based theme using icons and fonts that are all too familiar to Twitter users.

Following up on their cats and dogs themes, Bplay recently released a premium Horses theme for all devices. While it may not be for everyone, this theme is certain to have a market. As with all of Bplay’s theme, it has clean icons and smooth menus. It also includes rotating horse backgrounds that change every 10 minutes from a variety of top breeds, including: Arabian, Quarter Horse, Paint, Miniature, Thoroughbred, Appaloosa, Tennessee Walking, Akhal-Teke, Paso Fino, Andalusian, Friesian, Clydesdale, Icelandic, Trakehner and Irish Draft. Bplay has just let us know about an awesome new Guitar Hero World Tour theme. They are known for some great premium themes that never disappoint, and this one if no different. Even if you’re not a fan of Guitar Hero, you should check this theme out. It has all the great Guitar Hero artwork, as well as a very cool “flame” icon highlight.
